PhileSplitter allows you to split a file into a number of smaller pieces which can later be re-assembled to make the original file. Suppose you wanted to distribute a large file over the Internet. If something goes wrong, the user loses everything they've downloaded so far. Most people do not have file resumers, plus these are incompatible with many servers. Using PhileSplitter you can split the file into small pieces and generate a script that will re-assemble the file once the user has downloaded all the pieces.
